  • Dubbed “The Voice of the Junior League Baseball World Series” by JLWS founder Greg Bzura.
  • Was the tournament’s public address announcer for 30 years.
  • Volunteered for the JLWS for 38 years.
  • Part of the Taylor Northeast Little League from 1971-85.
  • A “lifetime member” of the Taylor Northeast Little League. 
  • Taylor Northeast Little League's softball field named "James Sicotte Field".
  • Served on the TNELL Board of Directors for 14 years.
  • Spent two years as president, six years as vice president, six years as sponsor chairman, four as general manager and one each as secretary and equipment manager. 
  • Spent a dozen years as district administrator for Michigan District 5, which serves not only Taylor, but Brownstown, Flat Rock, Huron Township, Lincoln Park, Melvindale, Romulus, Detroit and Redford. 
  • While serving as a manager, his teams captured four titles and finished second six other years.
  • Was one of the people who helped create and maintain the Taylor Sports Hall of Fame for its first decade.
