  • Played at the University of Michigan as a member of two Big Ten championship teams. 
  • A four-year letter winner in college, he led the Wolverines in innings pitched in 1999.
  • Posted a win and save in the 1999 Big Ten tournament. 
  • Originally drafted by the Detroit Tigers, he eventually played in the Cleveland Indians minor league system. 
  • Worked in the San Diego Padres minor league system. 
  • Starred at Dearborn Divine Child High School on the baseball diamond. 
  • A four-year letter winner and only the second freshman in program history to make the varsity. 
  • Led the Falcons to two Catholic League championships and the 1992 state title – the first of five in school history. 
  • After working in economic development for the City of Taylor, Bonner became founder and CEO of the Bonner Advisory Group in Ann Arbor. 
  • Also played former Tigers’ pitcher Frank Lary, the “Yankee Killer,” in Billy Crystal’s HBO movie 61*, the story of Roger Maris’ chase of Babe Ruth’s home run record during the 1961 MLB season.
