City seeks applications for Recreation Commission

The City of Taylor is currently seeking residents who have a passion for recreation to serve on the Taylor Recreation Commission. This is a nine-member, unpaid panel that is committed to enhancing the quality of life for our community by promoting planning, development and sustainability of parks, facilities and programs.

Any resident who is interested in serving on the commission should send a letter or introduction and a resume to Guido Ulin (gulin@ci.taylor.mi.us) and Crystal Kermans-Ditzhazy (ckermans-ditzhazy@ci.taylor.mi.us). Deadline for applying is 5 p.m. Friday, October 11. Nominees will eventually be finalized by the department and approved by the City Council.

A strong recreation department is one of the keys to a vibrant community. The Taylor Recreation Commission embraces wellness and recreation, safety and inclusiveness for all ages and abilities.
