Schedule Your Trip
Farm field trips are offered Tuesday through Friday, with start times at 10:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:45 p.m. Each visit lasts about one hour and can accommodate up to 30 children at a time. Additional accommodations may be possible, but need to be arranged in advance.
Our staff will be present and actively guiding the tour throughout the entire experience to ensure a safe, engaging, and well-organized visit, which will begin with a 10-minute video presentation in our pole barn, introducing the animals and what they do on the farm. This presentation helps ensure that every group receives a consistent and high-quality introduction to the farm experience. During the video, students will take part in an interactive experience where they can touch and explore different farm-related items. They’ll also have the chance to try milking our pretend cow, Bessie! After the presentation, the group will head out for a guided walking tour around the barnyard, where they will spend the majority of their time meeting the animals up close.
Please note that the entire field trip takes place outdoors. Our barn is heated in the winter, so groups can enjoy a comfortable visit at any time of the school year. The animals are ready to welcome your class!
